Donating materials to ReStore
The Habitat ReStore accepts new and used building-related materials from contractors, individuals, remodelers and property managers. These items sold to the general public at reduced prices.
Have items to donate? Follow these steps!
1. Call the ReStore! We will ask for a description of your materials and determine if we can accept them.
2. If you are delivering the donation, please arrive during the following times:
Donation Drop-Off Hours
Tuesday-Friday: 11:00am - 5:00pm | Saturday: 8:00am - Noon
3. If your donation requires multiple people to handle, please inform the ReStore during your call to make sure there will be enough help.
4. The ReStore reserves the right to refuse those items deemed unacceptable for resale in our store. Items must be in good, working condition.
5. Donations to ReStore are tax-deductible, and forms can be filled out upon the delivery of your donated materials. Fair market value for your items can be predetermined with the IRS Publication 561.

Need your donation picked up? Follow these steps!
1. Call the ReStore! Ask for Carl. He will ask for a description of your materials and determine if we can accept them.
2. If we can accept your donated materials, let us know you will need a pick up.
3. Due to fuel charges, we are only able to pick up large quantities of donated materials on Thursday mornings by scheduled appointment. We cannot do pick-ups outside of Brown County.
4. If the Habitat ReStore is picking up your donated items, to ensure that we are able to pick up your items in an efficient and safe manner, please help us out:
- Absolutely no hazardous materials are accepted
- Please mark all items for "Habitat ReStore"
- We are unable to haul away trash
- All materials must be either in a garage or outside
- WE DO NOT GO INTO HOUSES OR BASEMENTS/ UPSTAIRS
Please Note: We are only able to accept reusable materials. We may have to decline some materials at the time of pickup. Please do not be offended by our screening process. It is our primary goal to have the proceeds of our sales help defray the construction costs of Habitat homes. If we take items from you that we cannot sell, we simply become a storage facility or it would require an additional trip to the local dump.
We Need Your Help!
We are trying to start deconstruction in Brown County, where we salvage usable materials out of buildings bound for demolition, but need these donated items to get started:
Tools: Pry bars, Cats paws, Hammers, Sledge hammers, Wonder bars, Reciprocating saw, Come alongs, etc.
Hard Hats | Work Lights | Generator | Dust Masks
Fire Extinguisher
Pick-up Truck | Cargo Van | Enclosed Trailer
For the safety of our volunteers, these items may be new or
used, but must be in reliable, good-working condition.
If you have any of these items and are willing to donate them to the ReStore,
please contact Carl Blomquist at (920) 338-1650 or by email. All donations are tax deductible.
