Donating materials to ReStore

The Habitat ReStore accepts new and used building-related materials from contractors, individuals, remodelers and property managers. These items sold to the general public at reduced prices. 

Have items to donate?  Follow these steps!
1. Call the ReStore!  We will ask for a description of your materials and determine if we can accept them.

2. If you are delivering the donation, please arrive during the following times:

Donation Drop-Off Hours

Tuesday-Friday: 10:00am - 6:00pm  | Saturday: 8:00am - 4:00pm

• Absolutely no hazardous materials are accepted
• Please mark all items for "Habitat ReStore"
• We are unable to haul away trash
• All materials must be either in a garage or outside
• WE DO NOT GO INTO HOUSES OR BASEMENTS/ UPSTAIRS
  

Please Note: We are only able to accept reusable materials. We may have to decline some materials at the time of pickup. Please do not be offended by our screening process. It is our primary goal to have the proceeds of our sales help defray the construction costs of Habitat homes. If we take items from you that we cannot sell, we simply become a storage facility or it would require an additional trip to the local dump.

Items we want:

• APPLIANCES: washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators (must be less than 7 years old), upright freezers - in 100% working condition 
• CABINETS: up-to-date and not damaged
• CHRISTMAS LIGHTS: working or non-working we will recycle them
  
• DOORS: no broken glass
  
• ELECTRICAL:  usable fixtures, parts & supplies
  
• ELECTRONICS: computers, TVs, monitors, microwaves, DVD/DVR/VCR players, fax machines, printers, & more (will be recycled) . CLICK HERE for more information
  
• FLOORING: wood, ceramic tile (never installed), vinyl, carpet (never installed)
• HARDWARE: knobs, hinges, locks, nails, cabinet pulls, nuts, bolts, screws 
• LUMBER: at least 6' in length 
• MISCELLANEOUS: masonry, sheathing, siding, drywall supplies 
• PAINT: latex paint must be a full can/bucket, no rust, and still labeled.
• PLUMBING: usable fixtures, parts & supplies
• ROOFING:  no scrap materials please!
• NEW CARPETING
  
• TOOLS: hand, garden, working power, antiques
• TRIM/ MILLWORK: wood casing & base, vinyl base, ceramic
  
• WINDOWS: insulated glass/double-pane glass, no broken glass, no sashes accepted

• Furniture
• Used Carpeting/pad
• Fireplaces
• Used Ceiling Tile

• Window sashes (windows with no frame)
  
• Any broken items

Here is a list of items that would be beneficial to the ReStore to help us improve our operations and thus provide for Habitat homes for deserving families in need.
